Job summary

eTeam in Lisbon, Portugal, seeks a Crypto AML Transaction Monitoring Investigator for a 6-month full-time contract. You will conduct end-to-end reviews of alerts, analyze on-chain and off-chain activity, and determine dispositions or SAR needs while following regulatory deadlines.

You will use KYC/CDD/EDD data, blockchain analytics, and open-source information to build audit-ready narratives, document evidence, and collaborate with compliance stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of AML transaction monitoring investigations.
• Familiar with BSA/USA PATRIOT Act, FinCEN guidance, OFAC requirements.
• Understanding of crypto transactions, wallets, exchanges, and on-chain activity.
• Experience using blockchain analytics platforms for investigations.
• Ability to present findings clearly in SAR narratives.

Responsibilities

• Review and disposition AML alerts involving crypto deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account behavior.
• Conduct end-to-end investigations using KYC/CDD/EDD data, device data, and open-source intel.
• Analyze blockchain activity to trace funds across wallets and exchanges.
• Identify money-laundering typologies and assess counterparty risk.
• Draft concise, audit-ready SAR narratives with supporting evidence.
