• Perform independent QC reviews of AML alerts and investigations involving cryptocurrency activity.
• Assess whether investigators completed required review steps and used relevant information.
• Validate blockchain tracing, wallet-risk analysis, and counterparty assessment.
• Evaluate accuracy and clarity of case narratives and SAR recommendations.
• Document QC results, defects, and remediation requirements clearly.
• Escalate patterns and training needs to quality leadership.
