Job summary

Eurotux is seeking a Compliance and Regulatory Consultant to help client companies meet the new European regulatory framework (NIS2, AI Act, CRA, DORA) through standardized management systems. You will lead implementation projects, perform gap analyses, draft policies, and prepare clients for audits.

The role requires multi-disciplinary knowledge, strong communication, and the ability to train client teams across Portuguese and English contexts. Remote or on-site work arrangements are possible.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer engineering, information systems, management or law.
• Experience in compliance projects or auditing management systems.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English at least B2.

Responsibilities

• Assess regulatory frameworks for clients and translate into a concrete compliance plan.
• Lead compliance and management system implementation projects from diagnosis to certification.
• Carry out gap and risk analyses, define controls and monitor their implementation.
• Draft policies, procedures and records reflecting regulatory requirements.
• Prepare clients for audits and regulatory verifications; conduct internal audits.
• Deliver training and awareness sessions translating regulatory needs for non-technical stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory evolution and update Eurotux’s consulting offerings.

Job Description

We are looking for a consulting profile able to support client companies in complying with the new European regulatory framework — NIS2, the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act), the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and DORA — building on standardized management systems as the underlying framework.

Its main responsibilities are:

• Assess the regulatory framework applicable to each client and translate it into a concrete compliance plan, with priorities, responsibilities and deadlines;
• Lead compliance and management system implementation projects, from initial diagnosis through to certification or demonstration of compliance to authorities, clients or partners;
• Carry out gap and risk analyses, define the applicable controls and measures, and monitor their implementation;
• Draft and adapt policies, procedures and records, ensuring they reflect the client’s operational reality while meeting regulatory and legal requirements;
• Prepare clients for certification and surveillance audits and for regulatory verification processes, and carry out internal audits;
• Deliver training and awareness sessions to client teams, translating regulatory and legal requirements into accessible language;
• Monitor the evolution of the regulatory framework and reflect it in Eurotux’s consulting service offering;
• Support the maintenance and evolution of Eurotux’s internal management system and contribute to the preparation of consulting proposals.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in computer engineering, information systems, management, law or an equivalent field;
• Practical experience in compliance projects, whether implementing or auditing management systems, or preparing organizations for regulatory requirements;
• Knowledge of at least two of the following regulations: NIS2, the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act), the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA), DORA or GDPR;
• Solid command of the standardized management systems underlying these projects, particularly ISO/IEC 27001, and the ability to extend that knowledge to other standards and regulatory domains;
• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 42001, ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO/IEC 27701 or ISO/IEC 20000 is a plus;
• Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor certification (ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 42001 or equivalent) is a plus;
• Curiosity and autonomy to quickly master a new standard or regulation and turn it into useful work for the client;
• Proficiency in Portuguese and English, at least at B2 level in both;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable leading meetings and training sessions with non-technical stakeholders;
• Responsible, proactive, flexible and autonomous;
• Sense of responsibility and rigor, with strong analytical, planning, organizational and time-management skills;
• Availability for occasional travel to client premises;
• Immediate availability preferred.
