Pentagon Technical Services are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a major data centre project in Portugal. You will coordinate contractors, manage safety, quality and programme delivery on site.

You will be a key on-site lead, driving progress, resolving issues quickly, and ensuring work aligns with drawings, specs and client expectations on a high-profile data centre project in Portugal.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as Construction Project Manager/Construction Manager on large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and on-site delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Pentagon Technical Services are currently looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join a major data centre project in Portugal.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proven construction professional with experience managing complex, large-scale projects and coordinating multiple contractors, trades and stakeholders on site.

The Role

As Construction Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, to the required quality standards and in line with client expectations.

You will be a key point of contact on site, coordinating contractors and project teams while driving progress and resolving issues quickly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day construction delivery across the project


• Coordinate main contractors, subcontractors and specialist trades


• Monitor programme, progress, quality and construction performance


• Lead site coordination meetings and drive actions to completion


• Work closely with the client, consultants, engineers and wider project team


• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and project requirements


• Identify construction risks and proactively develop solutions


• Monitor health & safety and ensure site standards are maintained


• Support project planning, reporting and progress tracking


• Manage construction issues and drive projects through to completion


• Ensure works are completed to the required quality and programme


• Maintain strong client relationships and provide regular project updates

• Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager / Construction Manager


• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and project delivery


• Experience managing contractors and subcontractors


• Strong programme and project management skills


• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure project environment
