Minor Hotels Europe & Americas in Lisbon is seeking a dedicated Concierge to be the first point of contact for guests, delivering a personalized and memorable stay. You will anticipate needs, share insider recommendations, and arrange bespoke services across the hotel.

You will work closely with all departments to ensure seamless, high‑standard service throughout every guest interaction, reflecting professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Experience in Concierge, Guest Relations, Front Office or similar roles in 4-5 star hotels.
• Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism or related field preferred.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English required; other languages a plus.

What will be your mission?

As a Concierge, you will be the primary point of contact for our guests, delivering a personalised and memorable experience throughout their stay. Your mission will be to anticipate guests' needs, create unique experiences, and ensure that every interaction reflects the highest standards of hospitality. You will also act as a true ambassador of both the hotel and the destination, sharing insider recommendations, arranging bespoke services, and ensuring that every request is handled with efficiency, discretion, and exceptional attention to detail.

What will you do?

• Welcome, assist, and accompany guests, ensuring an outstanding experience from arrival to departure.
• Anticipate guests' needs and provide personalised assistance throughout their stay.
• Offer expert information and recommendations on the destination, local attractions, restaurants, events, and exclusive experiences.
• Arrange and coordinate reservations for services, activities, and experiences, ensuring seamless follow-up on all requests.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of the hotel's services, facilities, and offerings to provide accurate guidance to guests.
• Handle special requests, guest concerns, and unexpected situations with professionalism, discretion, and efficiency.
• Ensure all guest requests are followed through and resolved promptly, maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with all hotel departments to deliver a seamless and distinctive guest experience.
• Identify opportunities to personalise the guest journey by recording and monitoring guest preferences.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in Concierge, Guest Relations, Front Office, or personalised guest service roles, preferably within 4 or 5-star hotels.
• A degree or qualification in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field will be considered an advantage.
• Strong and up-to-date knowledge of Lisbon and its tourism, cultural, and gastronomic offerings, including exclusive experiences and premium services.
• Ability to create bespoke itineraries and personalised recommendations that enhance the guest experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory; additional languages will be considered an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities to further enrich the guest experience.
