Job summary

Emma – The Sleep Company is seeking an Internal Communications Manager to strengthen how information, decisions, and leadership intent flow across our international organization. You will translate strategy into clear, cascaded messaging and partner with C-level leaders to align cross-office communications.

You will own and improve key channels, drive survey design and results communication, and ensure consistency across our Lisbon, Frankfurt, Manila and Mexico City offices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in an international environment with structured communication ownership
• Direct collaboration with C-level stakeholders, drafting on their behalf
• Ability to break down complex problems and turn insights into actions
• Systems-focused thinker who designs how communication works
• Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communications right hand to C-level leaders on ad-hoc and recurring internal messaging
• Translate strategic decisions into clear, structured, cascaded communication across the organization
• Manage Emma's internal comms across offices and regions: Frankfurt, Manila, Lisbon, Mexico City
• Ensure communications are accurate and balance informational and emotional impact
• Drive structure and execution of internal communications initiatives
• Own and improve formats and channels such as Emma's Global All Hands
• Own the people survey as a product from design to reporting and identify themes

About The Role:

We are looking for an Internal Communications Manager to strengthen how information, decisions, and leadership intent flow across Emma. This role is about clarity, structure, and alignment - ensuring the right message reaches the right people, in the right way, especially in a fast-moving, international environment.

You'll report to our Head of Culture and work as a trusted partner to C-level leaders, translating strategic intent into clear, cascaded communication.

What You'll Do:

• Serve as the communications right hand to C-level leaders on both ad-hoc and recurring internal messaging
• Translate strategic decisions into clear, structured, and cascaded communication across the organization
• Manage Emma's internal communication across multiple offices and regions: Frankfurt, Manila, Lisbon, and Mexico City
• Ensure communication is accurate and considers both informational and emotional impact
• Drive structure and execution across internal communications initiatives
• Own and improve key communication formats and channels, such as Emma's Global All Hands
• Own the people survey as a product - from design through to communication of results - and identify themes and patterns in qualitative feedback

Who We're Looking For:

• 6+ years of experience in an international environment where you owned structured communication or information management
• Proven track record of working directly with C-level stakeholders, drafting on their behalf, managing their messaging, earning their trust
• You can break down complex problems, identify patterns, and turn insights into clear, actionable steps
• You think in systems and structure, not just sentences and you want to own how communication works
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language is a plus given our international footprint
• You thrive in ambiguity and fast-moving environments, you don't wait for a perfect brief to deliver a sharp output
