team.it is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design and implement cloud-native infrastructure for modern applications. You will develop and maintain infrastructure as code using best practices, and build automation to improve reliability and developer experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud/Platform/DevOps roles.
• Strong SRE and production ops knowledge.
• Experience with Linux-based systems and troubleshooting.
• Docker and Kubernetes expertise including CRDs.
• Envoy and API gateway familiarity.
• Monitoring/observability with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk.
• CI/CD and IaC implementations.

Cloud Engineer - Is that you?

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-native infrastructure supporting modern application architectures.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using software engineering best practices.
• Build automation solutions, tooling, and pipelines to improve platform reliability and developer experience.
• Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to ensure applications are cloud-ready, resilient, and observable.
• Troubleshoot cloud and platform issues, supporting incident resolution and root-cause analysis.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform landscape.
• Support and guide development teams in cloud and platform best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure-related roles.
• Strong understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and production operations.
• Experience working with Linux-based systems and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Kubernetes concepts, including Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs).
• Familiarity with API gateway technologies, such as Envoy.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk.
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, automation processes, and Infrastructure as Code solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with at least one major public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Solid programming skills in languages such as Python or Java for automation and tooling development.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform.
• Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and administration.
• Experience supporting scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments.

Nice to Have

• Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) at Foundation or Associate level.
• Knowledge of Go (Golang).
• Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed systems.
• Experience managing large-scale containerized workloads.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn new technologies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
