Job summary

Wire IT in Portugal is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a senior, growth-minded team. You will design, build, and optimize cloud platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP, with IaC, containerization, and robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Cloud/Platform Engineering or DevOps.
• Experience with AWS/Azure/GCP.
• IaC experience, Terraform preferred.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
• Python or Java for automation.
• CI/CD using GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps.
• Monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or Splunk.
• Knowledge of SRE and production operations.
• Fluency in English.

Role: Cloud Engineer

Location: Hybrid, Porto, Portugal

Required skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and networking fundamentals.
• Programming skills in Python or Java for automation and tooling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.
• Understanding of SRE principles and production operations.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
