Forvia Faurecia's Santa Maria da Feira site is offering a Cash Collection Trainee internship. You will support customer accounts and help prioritize receivables while learning the end-to-end cash collection process.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in economics/management/accounting, speak English well, and are ready to work in an international environment. This internship provides exposure to a global automotive leader and opportunities to develop professional skills.

Your mission, roles and responsibilities

The main missions of the role are:

• Customer account support;
• Prioritize the receivables base to ensure the highest impact items get focus;
• Be present on conference calls with customers and internal contacts to obtain commitments and accounts receivable resolution strategies;
• Assist in resolving customer issues, including process issues, disputes, and billing, to facilitate customer payment of undisputed balances;
• Collaborate on recommendations for process improvements focusing on the Customer-to-Cash cycle;
• Support productivity and transformation initiatives.

Your profile and competencies to succeed

Qualifications:

• Degree in Economics/Management/Accounting or Equivalent,
• Good Communication skills, namely English (knowledge of other languages is a plus),
• Good computer skills,
• Ability to work in an international environment
