Job summary

Webasto in Braga, Portugal seeks an experienced Cash Applications professional to process and apply incoming customer payments accurately and timely. You will investigate unapplied cash, perform reconciliations, and support month-end closing processes while coordinating with customers, banks, and internal teams.

The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, 2–3 years' related experience, strong Excel and SAP R/3/S/4Hana skills, and excellent communication abilities in English.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years in Cash Application, AR, or Customer Financial Services.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel.
• Experience with SAP R3 or S/4Hana.

Responsibilities

• Process and apply incoming customer payments accurately and timely.
• Investigate and resolve unapplied cash and payment discrepancies.
• Perform account reconciliations and support the month end closing process.
• Collaborate with customers, banks, and internal stakeholders to resolve payment-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Maintain and update DeskTop Procedures.
