Job summary

Vanguard Properties, the largest residential real estate developer in Portugal, is expanding its Golf team in the Comporta region (Terras da Comporta) and seeks a Marketeer to welcome players, manage rentals and assist guests throughout the game.

The role requires 9th grade education, customer service experience, English fluency (B2) and willingness to work in shifts; knowledge of golf and French are pluses.

Qualifications

• 9th grade education is the minimum requirement.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred.
• Fluency in English (B2 minimum) is required; knowledge of French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers at the Bag Drop and direct them.
• Ensure proper use and cleanliness of rental equipment.
• Collect rental equipment at end of game and arrange cleaning/return.
• Manage tickets and verify payment of green fees and rentals.
• Complete the daily rental control report.
• Enforce course rules and inform players of local rules, including buggy traffic.
• Ensure players are properly equipped and pace of play is maintained.
• Address customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.

Vanguard Properties, currently the largest residential real estate developer in Portugal, is growing and intends to strengthen its Golf team, located in the Comporta region (Terras da Comporta), with the integration of a Marketeer.

Core Responsibilities

• Welcome customers at the Bag Drop and direct them
• Ensure the proper use and cleanliness of rental equipment
• At the end of the game, collect the clients' equipment (golf bags and shoes) as well as its cleaning and return
• Manage the tickets, verify payment of green fees and rental equipment
• Ensure the completion of the daily rental control report
• Ensure the proper application of the courses’ rules and regulation
• Inform players about technical issues and other useful information
• Ensure that players are properly equipped for the practice of golf
• Ensure that the pace of play is maintained
• Inform customers about local rules, particularly those concerning buggy trafficand make sure they are respected
• Repair the pitch marks on the greens
• Attend to customers' complaints and try to solve them sensibly and reasonably.

Profile

• 9th grade education
• Experience in customer service
• Knowledge of Golf practice (desirable)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Fluency in English (minimum level B2)
• Knowledge of French (desirable)
• Availability to work in shifts
• Service and client-focused attitude
