Job summary
Capgemini Engineering in Portugal seeks a skilled RAN Optimization Engineer to drive C-SON use-cases for LTE and 5G. You will monitor performance, analyze SON outputs, and validate improvements across networks.
You will configure MLB, MRO, CCO, ANR, Energy Saving features, and collaborate with RAN Planning/Operations to meet targets. Hybrid work, international projects, and career growth opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field required.
- Minimum 5 years in Radio Network Optimization.
- At least 3 years with SON/C-SON platforms and strong LTE/5G knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize C-SON use cases across LTE and 5G networks.
- Monitor and improve network performance through automated optimization.
- Analyze SON recommendations and validate improvements.
- Configure, tune, and support SON features including MLB, MRO, CCO, ANR.
- Perform KPI-driven analysis and root-cause investigations.
- Collaborate with RAN teams to achieve performance targets.
- Develop performance reports, dashboards and executive presentations.
- Participate in customer discussions and technical workshops.
