NIF in Portugal seeks a procurement/engineering professional to source parts for aircraft and manage supplier relationships. The role focuses on finding reliable suppliers, negotiating purchases, and ensuring production-readiness of specifications.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in procurement or engineering, strong analytical skills, and fluency in Portuguese and English at C2 level, with a proactive, team-driven approach.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Source parts for aircraft and manage extensive supplier contacts.
• Negotiate and manage purchases for materials and services.
• Analyze proposals and prepare recommendations based on results.
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers.
• Review purchase requests and ensure alignment with requirements.
• Identify alternative suppliers to improve quality and processes.
• Ensure dev product information and requirements are validated for production.

What will be your responsibilities:

• Good knowledge about electronics and/or mechanics;
• Extensive contact with suppliers and internal clients following up order and/or development status;
• Negotiation and management of purchases for the acquisition of materials and services; proposal analysis, and preparation of recommendations based on results obtained;
• Market research to identify and select potential suppliers;
• Review and follow up on purchase requests for materials;
• Research alternative suppliers to improve quality and service, and optimize processes;
• Guarantee that dev product's information and technical requirements are closed and validated to transit them to production stage.

Profile and requirements:

• Minimum education: High school diploma or Bachelor's degree in areas such as Management, Electronics, Mechanics or similar;
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement and/or Engineering roles (preferably in Industrial or Production sectors);
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability;
• Results-oriented mindset;
• Language requirements: Advanced command of Portuguese and English, with proven proficiency at C2 level in both languages;
• Proactive, dynamic, and with strong interpersonal skills.
