Revolut is seeking a Business Risk Manager to oversee the risk and control environment for telecom operations. You will collaborate with Engineering, Product, and FinCrime to keep our communications ecosystem safe, compliant, and scalable as we grow.

Based in Portugal with flexible work options, you will assess risks, design scalable controls, conduct root-cause analyses, and support audits and assurance activities across the business.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or risk management.
• 4+ years of experience in operational resilience, risk management, or business continuity.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (DORA) and resilience best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Impeccable communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsabilidades

About the role

Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.

We’re looking for a Business Risk Manager to manage the risk and control environment for telecom operations. You’ll collaborate with Engineering, Product, and FinCrime teams to make sure our communication ecosystem stays safe, compliant, and resilient as we scale.

What you'll be doing

• Assessing and monitoring risks across telecom communication flows and platform performance
• Designing and improving scalable controls and processes for safe, compliant messaging
• Collaborating with Engineering, Product, Compliance, and FinCrime to embed solid risk practices
• Driving root-cause analyses and implementing sustainable fixes
• Reporting and supporting key risk updates, audits, and assurance activities

What you'll need

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, risk management, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in operational resilience, risk management, or business continuity within the financial industry
• A solid understanding of regulatory requirements (primarily DORA), industry standards, and best practices related to operational resilience and continuity planning
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Impeccable communication, deal-making, and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in relevant tools and technologies used for risk assessment, resilience, and continuity planning

Nice to have

• A solid understanding of telecom operations, products, customer journeys, and the associated regulatory/operational risk landscape
• Experience partnering with telecom product or operations teams in a first-line risk or business risk function
