Job summary

Revolut is seeking an experienced Risk Manager to oversee risk across our crypto entity and related operations in Porto, Portugal. You will identify, assess, and monitor risks, design controls, and produce leadership-ready reporting for informed decision-making.

The role requires strong data interpretation, analytical thinking, and excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams. A proactive, organised approach and the ability to multitask are essential for success in a fast-growing fintech

Qualifications

• 3+ years of risk management experience in financial services or technology.
• Expertise in risk identification, monitoring, and controls (implementation and testing).
• Ability to interpret and organise complex data to enable risk-based decisions.
• Solid track record of achievement in business or academic settings.
• Organised, methodical, and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the application of the risk management framework within our crypto entity.
• Identify, assess, document, and review risks across functions and regions.
• Independently test controls to ensure effectiveness and reliability.
• Develop procedures related to risk management processes.
• Design and monitor key risk indicators against defined limits.
• Register risk incidents and deliver relevant management reports.

About The Role

Risk at Revolut operates across all functions, products, and regions to monitor front-line performance and ensure the business operates safely. They’re among the first to be involved in new initiatives, from tech to customer support.

What You'll Be Doing

• Coordinating the application of the risk management framework within our crypto entity
• Identifying, assessing, documenting, and reviewing risks
• Independently testing controls
• Developing procedures related to risk management
• Designing key risk indicators and monitoring them against limits
• Registering and managing risk incidents, and delivering relevant reports
• Preparing management information related to risk exposures
• Implementing business continuity requirements

What You'll Need

• 3+ years of experience in risk management within financial services or technology

• Previous examples of practically interpreting and organising complex data to enable risk-based decisions
• A solid track record of achievement in a business environment and/or an academic level
• The ability to quickly assume responsibilities and manage many tasks at the same time
