Job summary

Noesis Portugal is seeking a Business Analyst to gather, analyze, and document business and regulatory requirements, translating them into clear specifications for technical teams. The role supports defining rules, SLAs/SLOs, and reporting, and it involves preparing functional documentation and validating acceptance criteria.

You will foster continuous communication between business and technical teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and contribute to pilots and UAT activities in a hybrid work

Job description

Noesis is looking for professionals with the following profile:

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze and document business and regulatory requirements from internal and external stakeholders, translating them into clear specifications for technical teams;
• Support the definition of business rules, SLAs/SLOs, exception scenarios and regulatory/operational reporting;
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation including use cases, process flows and business manuals;
• Define and validate acceptance criteria, support test case elaboration and participate in user and participant pilots;
• Foster continuous communication between business and technical teams, clarifying requirements and managing expectations.

Profile:

• Degree in Computer Science or similar;
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in payments or mission-critical financial systems;
• Strong ability to produce clear functional specifications and documentation;
• Understanding of data and integration concepts (APIs, messaging, file-based systems) to communicate effectively with technical teams;
• Familiarity with agile development practices (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and related tools such as Jira and Confluence;
• Experience with blockchain or digital wallet solutions will be valued;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities across business and technical domains.
