About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Business Analyst / Project Manager to join an international IT team focused on controlling and reducing operational risk in the banking sector.

You will gather, analyse and consolidate requirements from Operational Permanent Control teams and the central Risk department, translating business needs into IT requirements for the development and enhancement of risk management tools.

The role combines business analysis, project coordination and delivery oversight, with responsibility for leading global initiatives and collaborating with business stakeholders and distributed technical teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Gather and consolidate business requirements, ensuring a comprehensive view of stakeholder needs.
• Translate business requirements into clear IT specifications for development teams.
• Contribute to technical solutions aligned with architectural standards and existing platform constraints.
• Identify opportunities to simplify systems and processes, increase automation and improve straight-through processing.
• Support the development of a new platform while preserving the integrity of existing production processes.
• Coordinate delivery activities from high-level design and estimation through detailed design, development, unit testing and release.
• Progress initiatives independently or coordinate offshore developers, providing guidance and mentoring.
• Plan resource allocation according to agreed budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with other Business Analysts and Project Managers on analysis and stakeholder communication.
• Monitor progress and provide concise reporting on delivery, risks and issues.
• Escalate concerns when management intervention is required.
