You will work with Product Owner, developers, QA, Application Owner, clients and stakeholders across the full product lifecycle, from requirements to production rollout and support.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner with at least 5 years of experience to join an Agile team responsible for the evolution of strategic reference data solutions.

You will work closely with the Product Owner, Developers, QA, Application Owner, clients, and other stakeholders, contributing throughout the entire product lifecycle, from requirements analysis and functional design to testing, production rollout, and ongoing support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong functional analysis capabilities with a solid technical understanding of REST APIs, SQL, Postman, BDD/Gherkin, data structures, and event-driven solutions.

As a Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner, you will:

• Analyze and specify new product features.
• Review and validate solutions proposed by development teams.
• Define clear requirements and acceptance criteria using BDD/Gherkin.
• Participate in functional qualification before production releases.
• Test user interfaces, APIs, data, and integration flows.
• Support users and operational teams during new feature rollouts.
• Assist the Product Owner with product governance and stakeholder management.
• Monitor existing production features and support continuous improvement.

Functional Analysis & Requirements

• Gather and analyze requirements together with the Product Owner, clients, and business stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into clear and actionable functional specifications.
• Review and validate functional and technical designs proposed by development teams.
• Define user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Apply Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) practices.
• Use Gherkin to create structured and testable acceptance scenarios.
• Ensure alignment between business expectations and delivered solutions.

APIs & Integration

• Analyze and validate integrations between applications and systems.
• Test and monitor REST APIs using Postman.
• Validate API requests, responses, and expected functional behavior.
• Work with event-driven solutions and integration flows.
• Collaborate with developers to investigate integration issues.
• Ensure exchanges between systems are aligned with functional requirements.

Data & SQL

• Work with data structures supporting reference data applications.
• Understand the definition, organization, and relationships between data entities.
• Use SQL to analyze and validate information.
• Support functional investigations through targeted data analysis.
• Validate data consistency during development, testing, and production monitoring.

Functional Testing & Quality Assurance

• Participate in the functional qualification of new features.
• Design and execute functional test scenarios.
• Validate user interfaces and APIs.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet defined acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Collaborate with QA and Development teams until issues are resolved.
• Support release readiness before production deployment.

Change Management & Production Support

• Support the rollout of new features and services.
• Assist support teams and end users during production releases.
• Prepare supporting documentation and operational information.
• Monitor features already deployed in production.
• Investigate functional issues and coordinate their resolution.
• Facilitate communication between users, support teams, and Developers.

Product Governance

• Support the Product Owner with product and repository governance.
• Prepare documentation for project meetings and governance committees.
• Produce clear meeting minutes and follow-up documentation.
• Co-facilitate and co-present project committees and Agile ceremonies.
• Track functional topics, risks, priorities, and dependencies.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of the product.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies.
• Work within Scrum and/or Kanban environments.
• Use Jira and Confluence for project and product management.
• Collaborate closely with:

• Contribute to continuous improvement across the team.

What We’re Looking For

Mandatory Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience.
• Significant experience as a:
• Business Analyst
• Functional Analyst
• Product Owner
• Similar functional role within technology projects
• Degree in:
• Information Systems
• Computer Science
• Or equivalent
