Syone is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst in Lisbon to join a key client project. You will gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders, data owners, and regulatory teams, and translate them into clear functional specifications and data-model diagrams.

You'll create and maintain documentation, support test planning, and collaborate with the ETL team to design optimal data-flow and data-quality rules. Fluency in Portuguese is mandatory and agile experience is valued.

Main Tasks:

• Gather and analyze requirements from business stakeholders, data owners, and regulatory teams
• Translate business needs into functional specifications (user stories, acceptance criteria, data-model diagrams)
• Create and maintain documentation (requirements catalog, data dictionary, process maps, test plans)
• Facilitate test planning by participating in design test cases
• Communicate progress and outcomes to stakeholders through sprint demos, status reports and reviews
• Identify improvement opportunities in the transversal framework, propose enhancements
• Collaborate with the ETL development team to design optimal data-flow and transformation logic
• Define, implement, and maintain the data-quality framework (rules, thresholds, validation checks)

Technical skills:

• Strong knowledge on financial and banking sector
• Strong knowledge in BPMN or UML
• At least 5 years of experience.
• Agile Project-Management Tools - Manage backlogs, user stories, and traceability in Jira or Azure DevOps; ensure requirements are linked to test cases and delivery artifacts.
• Notions in managing data migration projects and performing large-scale data manipulation and aggregation
• SQL development skills (Oracle is the DB used)
