Job summary

EDP, a global energy company, is seeking a Brand & Communications Assistant in Lisbon to support the brand team across projects, timelines, and collaborations with agencies and suppliers. The role emphasizes delivering on-brand materials, coordinating content, and maintaining brand standards.

The candidate should hold a marketing degree, have 3+ years in branding/communications, and be proficient in Portuguese and English, with strong organizational skills and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
• At least 3 years’ experience in branding, marketing or communications in corporate or agency settings.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written Portuguese and good command of English.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with Adobe Illustrator is a plus.
• Experience with AI tools (Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support the brand team in managing communication projects from briefing to final delivery.
• Coordinate with agencies, production companies and suppliers, tracking timelines and deliverables.
• Check that the brand identity is correctly applied across materials.
• Respond to routine brand-related requests from internal departments under guidance.

Our Brand & Communications Networks unit is looking for an Brand & Communications Assistant to join our team.

What you will do:

• Support the brand team in managing communication projects, from briefing to final delivery.
• Coordinate with agencies, production companies and suppliers, including tracking timelines and deliverables.
• Check that the brand identity is correctly applied across communication materials.
• Respond to routine brand-related requests from internal departments, under the team’s guidance.
• Help organise project files, materials and documentation.
• Provide operational support for ongoing initiatives, such as producing materials, events and content.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or additional training in the field. Qualifications in Communications will also be considered.
• At least 3 years’ experience in branding, marketing or communications, in a corporate or agency setting.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written Portuguese and a good command of English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Teams.
• Experience and an eye for design are an advantage, as is familiarity with Adobe tools—particularly Illustrator—to review graphic materials and make minor adjustments.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools (Copilot, Claude and ChatGPT) and some experience supporting audiovisual productions are also an advantage.
• Collaborative mindset, eagerness to learn and strong attention to detail.
