Job summary

Pérez-Llorca in Lisbon is seeking a Billing and Collections Executive to oversee invoicing, WIP, and collections for Portugal and international hubs. The role requires a Bachelor’s in business/finance, 3+ years in a similar environment (law firm preferred), and fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

The successful candidate will contribute to efficient billing cycles, liaise with multiple teams, and support international expansion while growing within the firm.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in a similar role, preferably in a law firm.
• Native level of Portuguese with high English and Spanish proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Manage billing/invoicing processes including review of lawyers' records, preparation, registry and sending of invoices, follow-up, and reports.
• Manage WIP in liaison with partners and its conversion into billing.
• Manage collection procedures including contacts, follow-ups, resolution of pending matters and reporting.
• Oversee billing/invoicing across Portugal and international hubs (Abu Dhabi, Brussels, London, New York, Singapore).

BILLING AND COLLECTIONS EXECUTIVE LISBON Job Description We are looking for a Billing and Collections Executive for our Lisbon office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or similar.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a law firm.
• Excellent command of Excel and SAP S/4HANA.
• Native level of Portuguese.
• High level of English and Spanish.
• The ideal candidate will be looking to join a law firm with international scope, and be motivated to grow professionally with our firm and progress in their career.

Functions

• Management of billing/invoicing processes (including review of lawyers' records, preparation, registry and sending of invoices, follow-up, liaison with the relevant teams/departments, preparation of reports, etc.).
• Management of WIP in liaison with partners, supporting its conversion into billing.
• Management of collection procedures (including making contacts, follow-up, resolution of pending matters, closing of matters, liaison with relevant teams/departments, preparation of reports, etc.).
• The management of billing/invoicing processes will cover Portugal and, eventually, our international hubs (Abu Dhabi, Brussels, London, New York and Singapore), while the management of collection procedures will cover both Portugal and the aforementioned hubs.

Location Lisbon.
