Om System is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our BI team in Portugal. You will design, monitor, and optimize ETL pipelines, ensuring data reliability and accessibility for business users.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, implement ITIL-based incident management, and contribute to governance and security across BI platforms. Experience with L2 BI support and data integration is essential.

What We’re Looking For

Foundational experience supporting and maintaining data engineering workflows and processes, with a focus on reliability and performance. Hands-on experience with ETL development, data integration, and basic process automation. Ability to understand business requirements and assist in translating them into effective data solutions under guidance. Experience or exposure to providing L2 support for BI systems, with an understanding of ITIL-based support practices. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues. Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting processes, including dashboarding and data visualization tools. Good communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective work with both technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in a structured IT support environment following ITIL standards.
• Familiarity with cloud data solutions and modern data architectures.
• Understanding of scripting or automation to enhance data processing efficiency.
