Job summary

Prime Nearshore is seeking a Business Analyst to join an international banking project. You will bridge business stakeholders and IT, translating requirements into functional solutions and supporting the delivery of strategic initiatives.

The role requires at least 3 years of BA experience, banking knowledge, and strong documentation and validation skills. Hybrid work in Lisbon, with opportunities for growth and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Banking sector experience is required.
• Strong experience in gathering and analyzing requirements and in writing functional specifications.
• Experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation processes.
• Knowledge of banking operations, products, and processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Support business teams in defining functional needs and translating them into clear specifications.
• Produce and maintain functional documentation including business and functional specifications.
• Participate in solution design discussions with technical and functional teams.
• Contribute to testing activities, including test preparation, execution, and validation of delivered functionalities.
• Provide support to business users and back-office teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in investigation and resolution of functional incidents and user-reported issues.
• Monitor requirements implementation and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate communication between business and IT teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to operational efficiency.
