Sysmatch is seeking a Mid Data Platform Engineer (M/F) - Remote to join a dynamic IT consultancy. You will support and develop a data platform for a large international energy provider, Galp, ensuring robust, scalable data flows and high availability.

You will work with SQL, Spark, dbt, Kafka, NiFi, AirFlow and cloud services (AWS), plus Python or Scala for data tasks. Portuguese and English fluency required; remote work is offered.

Qualificações

• Experience with data pipelines in production environments.
• Strong SQL and distributed data processing knowledge.
• Proficiency with dbt, Kafka, Ignite, NiFi and AirFlow.
• Programming in Python or Scala for data tasks.
• Experience with AWS and Grafana tooling.
• Understanding of data governance and security in cloud settings.
• Experience implementing CI/CD for data workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

• Support and develop a data platform for a large international energy provider.
• Troubleshoot issues and improve data processes, monitoring and efficiency.
• Collaborate with platform architects to ensure security, availability and performance.
• Assist data scientists, analysts and business users on the data platform.
• Automate data ingestion, transformation and delivery tasks.
• Document changes and best practices; review data product releases.
