Dragonboat is hiring a Backend Engineer to join our Portugal team. You’ll build scalable systems, own the core platform, and shape APIs and services used across the product.

You’ll design backend systems powering portfolio intelligence, integrate with customer tools, and drive data-driven features with fast iteration in a startup environment.

If you take pride in backend craft, own problems end-to-end, and move fast without compromising quality, we’d love to hear from you.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of backend engineering experience and strong opinions about how to build systems that last.

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve the core platform — the data model, APIs, and services that everything else is built on.
• Design and build the backend systems that power portfolio intelligence, including data aggregation, scoring, and analysis at scale.
• Build and maintain integrations with the tools customers use daily.
• Make architectural decisions that will hold up as we grow.
• Collaborate with product and other engineers to go from problem to solution quickly.
• Use agentic coding tools as a standard part of your workflow.
