55 Tech is building a data infrastructure for the sports and esports industries, focusing on fast and reliable backend services. We are seeking a highly motivated Backend Engineer to join our growing team and work on a Risk Management Platform with real-time data pipelines.

In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs, optimize performance, and contribute to architecture discussions. 3+ years of backend experience and strong TS skills are preferred.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience designing REST/WS APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational databases - PostgreSQL/ClickHouse.
• Ability to analyse complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services and REST/WS APIs.
• Work on data pipelines that ingest, process, and serve data efficiently.
• Improve performance, observability, and resilience across the system.
• Take part in architecture decisions and technical design reviews.
• Write clean, easy to understand code and review code from teammates.
