Shakers is seeking a Backend Engineer (.NET/C#) for an internal-products team powering critical business operations. This is a fully freelance role contracted through Shakers, focused on delivering robust backend features end-to-end.

You will design, build, and own backend components, collaborate on architecture, optimize PostgreSQL schemas, and ensure scalable, event-driven solutions with Hangfire and message brokers like Azure Service Bus. English and Portuguese communication are essential.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years building and deploying web applications.
• Strong .NET/C# with solid OOP foundations.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL: efficient queries and schema optimization.
• Hands-on with background jobs (Hangfire) and event-driven architecture with message brokers (Azure Service Bus or similar).
• Automated testing (unit + integration) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of distributed systems.
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese.
