DBServices Portugal is seeking a Mid-Level .NET Backend Engineer to join an international engineering team in Maia, Portugal. The role focuses on building and maintaining modern backend applications and APIs with C# and .NET in a hybrid setup (2 days per week).

You will develop scalable microservices, integrate messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace), work with Docker and CI/CD pipelines, and apply SOLID, patterns, and DDD to deliver high-quality software.

Qualificações

• 6+ years of professional C#/.NET experience.
• Experience building microservices and REST APIs.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace.
• Strong async programming with TPL.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with logging/observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Prometheus).
• Knowledge of SOLID, Design Patterns and DDD.
• Strong analytical and collaborative skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain backend applications using C# and .NET.
• Build scalable microservices and REST APIs.
• Implement asynchronous and parallel processing with TPL.
• Develop integrations using Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace or similar.
• Work with Docker and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Implement logging, monitoring, tracing, and observability best practices.
• Apply SOLID, Design Patterns, and DDD in development.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable software.
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize performance.
