Velv is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to join an international Cloud & Telecom product project. You will design, develop and maintain scalable backend services with .NET, build distributed microservices and RESTful APIs, and work with Azure in a hybrid Porto setup.

You’ll collaborate with Architects, Product Owners and engineers, contribute to CI/CD pipelines and best practices, and help ensure high-availability systems powering products used across Europe.

Qualificações

• 7+ years of C#/.NET software development experience.
• Experience building microservices and REST APIs.
• Proficiency with Azure and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience with SQL databases.
• Familiarity with Agile software development environments.

We're looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join an international Cloud & Telecom product project! If you're passionate about building scalable backend systems, modern cloud architectures and solving complex engineering challenges, this could be the opportunity you're looking for. You'll join a highly technical engineering team working on cloud-native platforms used by millions of users across Europe, where you'll help design, build and evolve distributed systems using modern .NET technologies and engineering best practices. What you’ll do

Design, develop and maintain scalable backend services using modern .NET technologies

• Build and evolve distributed microservices and RESTful APIs
• Work with cloud-native architectures running on Azure
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects and other Engineers throughout the software development lifecycle. Contribute to CI/CD pipelines , code reviews and engineering best practices
• Participate in technical discussions, architectural decisions and continuous improvement initiatives. Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to building resilient, high-availability systems. Help deliver reliable software powering products used by millions of users across Europe.

What we’re looking for

• 7+ years of experience developing software with C# and .NET
• Strong hands-on experience building Microservices and REST APIs
• Experience working with Azure and cloud-native applications
• Experience with Docker and containerised applications
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices. Experience working with SQL databases
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented design principles and software architecture. Experience working in Agile software development environments. Strong ownership , autonomy and problem-solving skills. Ability to discuss technical trade-offs , challenge decisions constructively and contribute to architectural discussions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with highly technical teams. Continuous improvement mindset. Experience with Kubernetes is highly valued. Experience working in Telecom or Communications environments is a plus. Interest in AI-assisted engineering practices and tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude or similar.
