Vertsa Play is seeking a Backend Engineer (Golang/DevOps) to design and maintain scalable backend services for online casino games. You will work on backend systems, DevOps, and production environments in an autonomous capacity, taking ownership of architectural decisions.

The role is based on-site in Porto, Portugal, with a focus on performance, reliability, and real-time multiplayer capabilities in a modern tech stack.

Qualificações

• Solid experience in Backend Development.
• Strong knowledge of Golang and SQL.
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3).
• Practical understanding of DevOps and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience using Git.
• Knowledge of HTTP and WebSocket communication.
• Strong autonomy and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Availability for on-site work in Porto.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain backend services in Golang.

• Contribute to backend architecture and system design.
• Collaborate on DevOps and infrastructure-related tasks.
• Support the full software lifecycle: development, deployment, and production.
