Gaming1 in Lisbon, Portugal, is looking for a Frontend Engineer to design, build and evolve impactful web experiences. You will own features end-to-end from concept to release, collaborating closely with Product, Design and Engineering to deliver customer-centric outcomes.

YOUR ROLE

As a Frontend Engineer, your mission is to design, build, and evolve solutions that solve real customer problems and support business outcomes. You do this by:

• owning solutions across their lifecycle — from problem understanding and implementation to release, monitoring, and iterative improvement collaborating closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver meaningful outcomes applying strong craftsmanship while keeping a product and customer-first mindset continuously improving codebases, practices, tooling, and ways of working
• Your autonomy, scope, and influence are driven by your career ladder level, not by the job title alone.

YOUR PROFILE

• Strong React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript expertise
• Product-oriented mindset with a focus on customer and business value
• Experience building scalable, maintainable and high-performance web applications
• Solid knowledge of Redux Toolkit, RTK Query and asynchronous data flows
• Strong engineering practices: testing, code quality, CI/CD and code reviews
• Comfortable working in cross-functional product teams alongside Product Managers and Designers
• High level of ownership, autonomy and problem-solving ability
• Passion for continuous learning, AI-assisted development and engineering excellence
• Nice-to-have: React Native, micro-frontends and frontend security knowledge
