Jobgether is seeking a Middle to Senior Python Developer based in Portugal to build high-performance backend systems within a fast-paced iGaming technology environment. You will work across a modern Python-based stack, delivering new capabilities and scalable services, with ownership over technical solutions and production reliability.

The role combines hands-on development with architectural decisions, including integrations with payment methods and data providers, and automated communications

Qualificações

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of Python 3.x and Django.
• Experience designing scalable, high-load systems.
• Proficient in software engineering fundamentals (patterns, data structures, algorithms).
• Intermediate English or higher for international collaboration.
• Experience in iGaming or sports betting.
• Ability to break down complex tasks and deliver.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.

Responsabilidades

• Make architectural and technical decisions for backend products.
• Design, develop, test backend solutions with Python and Django.
• Build features and integrations with payment methods and data providers.
• Develop automated communications and risk management capabilities.
• Monitor production systems for stability and reliability.
• Analyze performance, identify bottlenecks, implement optimizations.
• Own tasks from development to delivery.
• Decompose complex requirements into actionable tasks.
• Apply systematic approaches to solve engineering challenges.
