Affinity is a Portuguese technology consulting company with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Óbidos, offering hybrid, remote, or onsite work on projects across 20+ countries. We seek a Backend Developer with Python and 3+ years of experience to join our team and contribute to scalable services.

You will work with Flask, Django, or FastAPI, PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy, and a DevOps mindset using Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and Linux.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in Backend development with Python.
• Experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with asynchronous processing (e.g., Redis Queue).
• Strong DevOps mindset including Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and Linux environments.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Backend development with Python
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy
• Experience with asynchronous processing (e.g., Redis Queue or similar)
• Strong DevOps mindset, including Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and Linux environments
• Experience with Git-based development workflows

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Helm
• Experience integrating Machine Learning models or GenAI solutions
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services
• Experience with data pipelines or data-intensive systems
• Experience with on-premise solutions
