Affinity is seeking engineers with proven expertise in OS performance tuning for low-latency, high-performance trading systems, and strong virtualization and container skills. You will contribute to infrastructure automation using Python and shell scripting, plus CM tools like Ansible or Puppet.

Affinity is a Portuguese technology consulting company with offices in Lisbon, Porto and Óbidos, and representations in Brazil and Tunisia.

Qualificações

• Proven expertise in OS performance tuning for low-latency, high-performance trading apps.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization and container technologies.
• Experience with server hardware, data center builds, and OS migrations.
• Solid scripting skills in Python and shell for infra automation.
• Familiarity with CM/Provisioning tools such as Ansible or Puppet is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Windows NAS administration is a bonus.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven expertise in OS performance tuning for low-latency, high-performance trading applications;
• Solid knowledge of virtualization and container technologies;
• Practical experience with server hardware, data center build-outs and OS migrations;
• Strong scripting skills in Python and shell for infrastructure automation;
• Familiarity with configuration management and provisioning tools such as Ansible or Puppet is a;
• Working knowledge of Windows and NAS administration is a plus.
