Affinity in Lisboa, Portugal, is seeking a backend developer with 3+ years of professional Python experience to join our team on national and international projects built on close collaboration and a practical, disruptive approach in the tech market.

You will work with Flask, Django, or FastAPI, PostgreSQL/SQLAlchemy, Redis for asynchronous tasks, and a DevOps mindset with Docker and GitHub Actions in Linux environments, while contributing to a welcoming, trust-based culture and ongoing career

Qualificações

• 3+ years of backend development in Python.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Experience with Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with asynchronous processing (Redis Queue or similar).
• Strong DevOps mindset: Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Linux environments.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows.

What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of professional experience in Backend development with Python
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and SQLAlchemy
• Experience with asynchronous processing (e.g., Redis Queue or similar)
• Strong DevOps mindset, including Docker, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and Linux environments
• Experience with Git-based development workflows

Nice to have:

• Experience with Kubernetes and/or Helm
• Experience integrating Machine Learning models or GenAI solutions
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud Services
• Experience with data pipelines or data‑intensive systems
• Experience with on‑premise solutions
