Yazaki North America, Inc. Porto Technical Centre in Portugal invites a 3D CAD Engineer to develop wire harness designs using CATIA, Siemens NX, and AutoCAD, ensuring adherence to customer specifications and DFMs while contributing to cost-saving initiatives.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and customers, providing technical support and driving efficient product development and documentation throughout the lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Bachelor-level degree in mechanical, electrical or electromechanical engineering.
• Strong MS Excel skills (advanced).
• Experience with 3D CAD tools and automotive engineering standards.

Responsabilidades

• Create 3D CAD models of wire harnesses using 3D CAD tools.
• Ensure customer specs and DFMs are followed in designs.
• Submit requests for product and drawing modifications and cost-saving proposals.
• Act as technical interface with OEMs for system designs.
• Provide onsite support at CSC or plant when needed.
• Collaborate with customers, CSC and manufacturing to share information and drive improvements.
• Manage engineering process and monitor project progress to meet deadlines.
