Volkswagen Group Services GmbH in Lisbon is seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to join the Vehicle Engineering Team. You will develop and review electronic hardware designs, run simulations, and support functional safety analyses for automotive ECUs.

The role requires a BS/MS in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering, 3–5+ years in automotive hardware, and hands-on experience with Altium Designer, schematic reviews, and PCB layouts.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunications Engineering or comparable field.
• 3–5+ years in automotive hardware development, preferably with safety-related ECUs.
• Experience with schematic reviews, PCB layouts, and hardware verification.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and review electronic hardware designs, including schematics and PCB layouts.
• Perform hardware simulations and technical analyses.
• Support functional safety analyses such as FMEDA and root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with customer engineering and suppliers during design reviews.
