Volkswagen Group Services in Lisbon is hiring an Embedded Developer to join the I&E HUB. You will design, develop, test, and maintain embedded solutions for vehicles, with a focus on testing and automation, HIL environments, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The role requires 3+ years in embedded software, C++/Adaptive Autosar, and fluent English. A hybrid work model in Lisbon is offered with competitive compensation and strong growth opportunities within the Volkswagen Group.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• Strong experience in embedded software for automotive environments (C++/Adaptive Autosar).
• Solid expertise in embedded platforms and operating systems.
• Experience in prototyping, test automation, CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
• Understanding of networking, secure communication, and integration across embedded, hardware and cloud.
• Fluent English skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded solutions in customer vehicles.
• Validate embedded solutions using hardware/software test environments (HIL, real components, mocks).
• Develop testing and automation tools to improve software validation.
• Debug and resolve end-to-end issues across software, hardware and network layers.
• Support deployment and integration of platform features across products.
• Take initiative to solve problems and remove roadblocks.
• Collaborate with global team to improve services, tooling and processes.
