Capgemini Engineering is hiring for a Software Test Automation role in Portugal. The candidate will drive UI test automation using Playwright, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, and work within an Agile environment to ensure software quality.

Strong communication in English and collaborative mindset are essential. The role emphasizes turning requirements into clear test scenarios, maintaining automated tests, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement across national and international

Qualificações

• Experience implementing UI test automation with modern frameworks (Playwright or similar).
• Proven ability to set up and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with API testing tools is a plus.
• Ability to translate requirements and user stories into concrete test scenarios.

Your profile:

• Strong experience with UI Test Automation (Playwright or similar).
• Experience setting up and maintaining automated tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile ways of working.
• Experience with API testing tools is a plus.
• Ability to turn software requirements, user stories, and business processes into clear test scenarios.
• Exceptional oral and written communications skills in English.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Good problem-solving skills and a practical mindset.
• Proactive attitude and interest in continuous improvement.
