Capgemini Engineering in Portugal is seeking a Test Automation Engineer to ensure quality and reliability of software applications. You will design, execute and maintain functional and automated tests in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will work with Jira, XRAY, Confluence, and testing tools like Robot Framework, Selenium, or Cypress, and support testing in Linux environments. Fluency in English is required and French B1 is a plus.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in software testing across complex application environments.
• Hands-on with test management and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, XRAY).
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and defect-management processes.
• Experience with log analysis, defect diagnosis, and understanding application architectures/data flows.
• Experience or interest in test automation using Robot Framework, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Good communication and collaboration skills; English proficiency required; French B1 is a plus.

YOUR ROLE

As a Test Automation Engineer, you will help ensure the quality and reliability of software applications by combining functional testing, defect analysis, and test automation. Working in an Agile environment, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate requirements, execute test strategies, investigate issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and automation capabilities.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with experience in log analysis, defect diagnosis, and understanding application architectures and data flows.
• Experience or interest in test automation using tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in international environments; French B1 is required.
