Capgemini is seeking a Test Manager in Évora, PT, with on-site duties. The role leads test activities, designs test cases, and ensures quality across the SDLC, including hands-on testing of web apps and APIs.

You will collaborate with business and tech teams, monitor progress, risks and metrics, and contribute to test automation and cloud testing initiatives. English fluency is required.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Test Manager (ISTQB certified or equivalent).
• At least 6 years' experience in software testing (Tester/Analyst/Designer/Automation).
• Familiar with JIRA, Confluence, and AI-driven testing.

YOUR ROLE

Lead and coordinate test activities, including test strategy, planning, execution, reporting, and stakeholder management.

Perform hands‑on manual testing of web applications, APIs, and business processes.

Design and execute test cases, prepare test data, and manage the defect lifecycle.

Collaborate closely with business and technical teams to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.

Monitor test progress, risks, and quality metrics, providing clear status reporting.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to test automation and cloud testing activities.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Test Manager (ISTQB certified or equivalent).
• At least 6 years' experience in software testing, including roles such as Tester, Test Analyst, Test Designer, or Test Automation Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and AI-driven testing.
• Experience in test case design, test data preparation, test execution, and defect management.
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Understanding of data anonymization principles and practices.
• Basic experience with test automation and testing cloud-based services.
• Familiarity with CSV, Excel, XML, JSON, and Parquet data formats.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
