Quadrante is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Industrial HVAC in Porto to lead high-impact building HVAC projects. You will design robust systems, ensure compliance with applicable standards, and drive project delivery from concept to completion.

You will mentor teams, develop tools and best practices to improve productivity, collaborate with international stakeholders, and contribute to sustainable infrastructure across energy, engineering and consulting.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• English proficiency is mandatory for international projects.
• 10+ years of professional experience in HVAC project development is expected.

Responsabilidades

• Design efficient, robust, and optimized technical solutions.

We are currently looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer – Industrial HVAC to join our team and play a key role in delivering complex and high-impact building projects.

• Develop HVAC projects ensuring full compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements
• Design efficient, robust, and optimized technical solutions aligned with client needs and performance expectations
• Ensure compliance with defined project deadlines and delivery milestones
• Plan work activities and monitor team productivity, ensuring high levels of efficiency and profitability
• Manage and mentor the assigned team, fostering technical development and performance growth
• Develop and implement tools, methodologies, and best practices to improve productivity and overall division performance

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced proficiency in English (mandatory), with the ability to communicate in an international project environment
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in HVAC project development
• Strong knowledge of DesignBuilder for thermal load and energy calculations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit will be considered an asset
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset
