Job summary

Myticas Consulting Inc. is seeking an Application Engineer to join a Knowledge Services team focused on automating technical documentation and publishing workflows.

You will transform XML content into multiple formats and generate documentation from engineering data sources, while improving systems for validation, management, and publishing of customer-facing materials. Qualifications

• Strong development experience with Python and the Django framework.
• Hands-on experience with XML processing and transformation.
• Knowledge of HTML and PDF generation technologies.
• Experience working with YANG and JSON data structures.
• Strong experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience using Git for source control.
• Backend development experience with PostgreSQL.
• Frontend development experience using JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation solutions that transform XML-based documentation into multiple output formats.
• Build systems that automatically generate documentation from engineering data sources, including YANG models, JSON, and APIs.
• Create and support applications used for document conversion, validation, generation, and publishing.
• Develop backend services and REST APIs that support documentation workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers, technical writers, and product teams to improve documentation tools and processes.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across documentation‑generation and publishing pipelines.
• Support Linux‑based development environments and CI/CD processes related to documentation automation.
• Continuously improve the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of documentation systems.
