Myticas Consulting is seeking an Application Engineer in Lisbon, Portugal – Hybrid. The role combines backend development, automation, data processing, and frontend work to transform XML content into multiple formats and automate documentation generation from engineering sources.

You will build and support systems for document conversion, validation, generation, and publishing, and collaborate with engineering, writers, and product teams to improve tools and workflows.

Qualificações

• Strong development experience with Python and the Django framework.
• Hands-on XML processing and transformation experience.
• Experience with HTML and PDF generation technologies.
• Experience with YANG and JSON data structures.
• Strong experience working in Linux environments and Git for source control.
• Backend development experience with PostgreSQL.
• Frontend development familiarity: JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, REST APIs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop automation solutions that transform XML-based documentation into multiple output formats.

Application Engineer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal – Hybrid

We are seeking an Application Engineer to join a Knowledge Services team focused on developing and supporting applications that automate technical documentation and publishing workflows.

This role will involve transforming XML-based content into multiple output formats, automatically generating documentation from engineering data sources, and improving the systems used to validate, manage, and publish customer‑facing technical documentation.

This is a hands‑on engineering position combining backend development, automation, data processing, and front‑end development, with close collaboration across engineering, documentation, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build systems that automatically generate documentation from engineering data sources, including YANG models, JSON, and APIs.
• Create and support applications used for document conversion, validation, generation, and publishing.
