The ideal candidate will be a native or near-native European Portuguese speaker with strong English reporting ability and prior annotation/proofreading experience. This position focuses on precise error logging and quality assessment.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in European Portuguese with a genuine habit of listening to audiobooks.
• Working proficiency in English sufficient for reporting and team communication.
• Prior experience in annotation, labeling, transcription, proofreading, or other detail-oriented review work.
• Patient, disciplined, and capable of sustaining accuracy over long listening sessions.
• Reliable availability of approximately 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Listen to AI-narrated audiobooks in European Portuguese and assess naturalness, accuracy, and overall listening quality.
• Identify and log speech errors - including mispronunciations, skipped or added words, incorrect number readings, wrongly expanded abbreviations, unnatural phrasing, and audio artifacts.
• Categorize each issue and mark the exact timestamp or span using our internal review tooling.
• Provide overall listener satisfaction feedback, noting where narration feels natural and where it disrupts the experience.
• Maintain consistent attention to detail across extended listening sessions.

We're looking for native European Portuguese speakers who are passionate about audiobooks and have a sharp, analytical ear to evaluate and improve AI text-to-speech narration. This is a part-time, remote role at approximately 20 hours per week.
