Job summary

Sonae Sierra, an international real estate company, invites applications for the Associate, Tax role in Portugal. You will support corporate tax compliance for the groups under management.

Key responsibilities include preparing and submitting CIT, VAT, and other local tax returns, reviewing tax records, and coordinating with external advisers and auditors. Fluent language skills and tax training expected.

Qualifications

• FP - Intermediate or Advanced Level in Administration and Finance
• University degree valued
• Specialist training in Spanish taxation

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and submission of the main periodic and annual tax returns for the companies under management: Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Withholdings tax, other local taxes.
• Review of the tax accounting records.
• Preparation of the tax documentation required by external auditors for limited reviews and annual audits.
• Liaising with external tax advisers to resolve issues and prepare enquiries or submissions to the tax authorities where necessary.
• Preparation of tax procedures.

Requirements

• FP - Intermediate or Advanced Level in Administration and Finance, a university degree will also be valued.
• Specialist training in Spanish taxation.
