Quadrante is seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer for the Industrial HVAC department based in Porto. You will work on national and international HVAC projects, delivering compliant design solutions and meeting deadlines.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with 2–3 years HVAC design experience, strong English, and hands-on use of DesignBuilder or HAP, AutoCAD, REVIT, and Office tools.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 2–3 years of HVAC design experience preferred.
• Advanced English is mandatory for international projects.
• Experience with DesignBuilder or HAP for thermal load calculations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; REVIT is a plus.

Quadrante is looking to strengthen our Industry Business Unit by recruiting an Associate Mechanical Engineer for the Industrial HVAC department, based at our Porto office.

With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.

Responsibilities:

• Develop HVAC projects ensuring compliance with standards, regulations, and client requirements
• Design efficient and rigorous technical solutions aligned with the client’s needs and expectations
• Ensure adherence to established deadlines for project execution

Profile:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in HVAC design, preferably in industrial or complex building projects
• Advanced proficiency in English (mandatory), with the ability to communicate in an international project environment
• Practical experience with DesignBuilder or HAP for thermal load calculations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD, with the ability to produce and review technical documentation
• Knowledge of REVIT is considered an asset, particularly in BIM-based projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with a moderate level of autonomy
• Flexibility to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
• Good communication skills, team spirit, and a collaborative mindset
