Quadrante is looking to strengthen its Industry Business Unit by recruiting a Junior Civil Engineer for the Industrial Hydraulics department, to join our team in Porto.
With both national and international projects of varying scales and typologies, Quadrante offers a unique professional experience in the Portuguese engineering market.
Responsibilities
- Develop Industrial Hydraulics projects, ensuring compliance with client requirements, applicable regulations, and internal quality standards
- Prepare hydraulic calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and reports for industrial projects
- Support the design and optimization of engineering solutions, contributing to technical and economic efficiency
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure proper integration between different engineering disciplines
- Assist in project planning and execution, ensuring deliverables are completed within established deadlines
- Review project documentation and contribute to quality control processes
- Participate in the development and implementation of technical tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Provide technical support during project development and execution phases
Profile
- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering; specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering is preferred
- Minimum of 1 years of professional experience in hydraulic design, preferably in building and/or industrial hydraulics
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is valued
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proactive attitude, autonomy, and willingness to learn and develop professionally
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Adaptability to different project types and scales
