JobCloud in Porto, Portugal, is launching an early-access product and seeking engineers to validate new AI-driven features with real users. You’ll work from our Porto office while the team sits in Switzerland, contributing to a bold shift toward Pay per Performance.

We value solid engineering foundations, curiosity, and a bias for shipping over overthinking. You’ll design multi-agent systems, build APIs, collect feedback, and travel for workshops as needed.

Qualificações

• Engineering background or equivalent hands-on work with a business-first mindset.
• Strong curiosity, inclusive attitude, and hands-on AI tooling experience.
• Hands-on experience with multi-agent orchestration and AI tool workflows.
• Familiarity with cost optimization and basic LLM tuning concepts.

• Set up feedback collection to continuously improve agent performance.
• Debug failures, optimize costs, and handle edge cases pragmatically.

We're launching an early-access product to validate new features with real users. This isn't about writing perfect code, it's about leveraging AI tools to orchestrate multi-agent systems, test ideas fast, and prove them with actual feedback. You'll work from our Porto office while your team is in Switzerland. If you have solid engineering foundations, genuine curiosity, and the mentality of shipping over overthinking, we want to talk.

A decade ago JobCloud conceived a concept ahead of its time - a product designed to efficiently manage and optimize the usage of the customer’s hiring budget while identifying the optimal channels to maximize the visibility of job ads (AI/ML are key to optimizing this process) and effectively reach the target public (potential employees).

Today our mission is to revolutionize the industry standard shifting away from the current job ads paradigm of Pay per Duration toward Pay per Performance. What was once merely a concept is now on the cusp of becoming a reality!

YOUR TASKS

• Design and implement multi-agent systems that solve real product challenges
• Develop APIs and integration layers so agents can interact with our platform safely
• Set up feedback collection systems to continuously improve agent performance
• Debug failures, optimize costs, and handle edge cases pragmatically
• Ship features iteratively: test with users, learn, iterate, repeat
• Ask lots of questions and challenge assumptions to drive better outcomes

YOUR SKILLS

• Engineering background (degree or equivalent hands-on work) with a business-first mindset
• An innovative, curious and inclusive personality
• Strong grasp of prompt engineering techniques (chain-of-thought, few-shot, structured outputs)
• Hands-on experience with multi-agent orchestration and AI tool workflows
• Familiarity with GitHub and AWS services
• Understanding of LLM fine-tuning basics and cost optimization strategies
• Ability to design and run A/B tests for AI systems
• Comfortable with Claude Code and similar AI-native development environments
• Excellent communication skills in English
