Init Digital Communication Portugal is seeking a (Senior) AI Engineer to actively shape the future of AI. In this role, you will develop, train, and optimize AI models, while implementing solutions across various use cases. You will be based in Porto or work remotely from anywhere in Portugal.

Applicants should possess a degree in Computer Science or Data Science, strong Python skills, and professional experience in AI/ML development. The position offers flexible hours, generous vacation, and private health insurance.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in developing AI/ML applications.
• Strong Python skills and experience with common AI frameworks.
• Experience in developing LLMs and NLP pipelines.
• Working knowledge of data processing tools.

• Development, training, and optimization of AI and ML models with a focus on LLM and pipeline development
• Implementation and integration of AI-driven solutions across a wide range of use cases
• Working with modern frameworks and technologies to deliver intelligent automation
• Development and maintenance of scalable backend services for AI models
• Actively contributing to the AI strategy through innovative solution approaches

What you bring along

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in developing AI/ML applications
• Strong Python skills and experience with common AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, LangChain)
• Experience in developing LLMs and NLP pipelines
• Proficient in working with data processing tools such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib
• Knowledge of prompting, vector embeddings, and fine-tuning of AI models
• Excellent English and good German skills complete your profile
